The houses of Harrogate North represent one of their owners’ most important investments. In a condominium community such as ours, the value of each unit can be significantly affected by the appearance of, and the activities around, other units in the community.

The Architectural Review Committee of Harrogate North helps to maintain the character and aesthetics of our community by educating homeowners about the Rules and Regulations and the architectural review process. The Committee reviews and recommends to the Executive Board decisions on all Architectural Change Requests and participates in the process of ensuring compliance with the community’s Rules and Regulations and Board decisions.

The Architectural Review Committee is accountable to the Harrogate North Condominium Association Executive Board. This standing committee derives the authority for its actions from the Association’s Declaration of Condominium, its Rules and Regulations, and the Executive Board.

The Communications Committee is chartered to provide and support internet-based messaging and information services to all owners and occupants of Harrogate and is accountable to the HNCA Executive Board. These services include, but are not limited to, the following:  Harrogate website, monthly newsletter, weekly Harrogate Happenings, special notices, special events, community directory,  email distribution list maintenance and upkeep of community calendar access.
The Committee will be composed of at least 5 Harrogate occupants who have the skills and interest in computer based publishing, editing, journalism, and website development and management. Since much of the messaging content will be provided by other Committees, the Executive Board, and other sources, it will be important for Committee members to be able to communicate and coordinate effectively with all sources.

As there are several communications tools available within the Community, the Committee will decide on the most appropriate one(s) to deliver each particular message, depending on urgency and level of importance. The responsibility for website management and/or development, for the publication of
the monthly Newsletter and Weekly Happenings, and for the maintenance and upkeep of email distribution lists shall reside within the Committee. Committee members will share access privileges for any and all necessary computer and internet applications so that all services will continue during the absence of any individual member(s). The Committee will consolidate such information in a resource binder that can be used as reference for all members and during changes of membership. The President of the HNCA will be provided a list of all access codes and login procedures. Any expenses incurred by the Committee will be pre-approved by the Executive Board.
